Discovering the joy of ultra-wide-angle lenses. This is my new 16-35mm, pulled all the way back on my full-frame Canon EOS 5D, and drinking in every last scrap of light a good forty-five minutes after sunset. I love how it’s managed to catch all the rich blues in the sky, and drink in the natural street-lights as well. Shooting at high ISO hand-held in near-full-night is quite a treat. The distortion of the wide lens is fun as well- though as you can see at the very edge close-up it does go a little squishy.
Squishy’s a technical photography term. I wouldn’t expect you to understand.
