A steamy tropical dawn as the sun rises from the Bismarck Sea off the northern coast of equatorial Papua New Guinea. I took this photo two minutes from my front door, standing on the seafront at the Lodge. The things I will miss from Papua New Guinea are outweighed by those I will not. However this sort of sight is one that I’ll carry with me with fondness for many, many years.
